Staff Assistant
- Processes ALL incoming IEP packets
- Processes 688 Referrals
- Medicaid (including Random Moments in Time)
- Schedules Out of District Meetings
Deirdre Johnson
Secretary
- Processes all incoming mail (external and internal)
- Maintains permanent special education records
- Mails completed IEP Packets to families
- Provides clerical support to our EL and Family Engagement Coordinator
- Assists with coordinating Extended School Year Programming
- Processes requests for records
Kelley Knight
Outreach Social Worker and Supervisor of Attendance
- Serves as the district’s liaison for:
- The Department of Children and Family Services (DCF)
- Northampton Police Department
- Community Providers (e.g., Clinical Support Options)
- Juvenile Court
- Attends Best Interest Determination Meetings (BIDs) for the District
- Supports students who are in foster care and who are considered McKinney-Vento students
Nelly Carmona
Outreach Social Worker
- Serves as the district’s liaison for:
- Community Providers (e.g., Clinical Support Options)
- Supports students and families around school engagement, as well as accessing community resources
- Serves as the key-point of contact for families who receive a combination of community resources and wrap around services.
- Supports students who are in foster care and who are considered McKinney-Vento students
